Film event to be held on Brac Island
19 June 2009Local people and Croatia vacationers alike will be able to enjoy a four-day film festival on the Dalmatia holiday island Brac next month.
From July 9th to 12th, there will be movie screenings, exhibitions, concerts and other special events to keep the public entertained, reports the Croatian Times.
Dubbed Supetar Super, the documentary film festival will take place in the town of Supetar on the Croatia holiday island.
People staying in other Dalmatia accommodation - such as that which is found in mainland Split - may want to take the short ferry ride across the water to get involved in the activities.
Opening the music section of the four-day gathering will be French group Joke, who mix rock, hip-hop and punk-rage.
Aside from the music and movies, people staying on Brac have a number of beaches and fishing villages to explore, as well as plenty of places to eat and drink.
