Film festival could interest Istria holidaymakers
23 June 2009The Motovun Film Festival runs in Istria between July 27th and 31st, which could provide an added attraction for people taking a holiday in the region at that time.
Indeed, the Observer has included the event on its list of cheap holiday activities for the year.
According to the newspaper, the occasion is a free art house film festival that is held "in [the] beautifully preserved hilltop village" Motovun.
There will be over 70 movies to choose from - shown on giant screens - over the five-day period.
Other people looking to combine a holiday in Croatia with watching flicks may want to investigate the Supetar Super event on Brac Island between July 9th and 12th.
Various screenings, exhibitions, concerts and other activities will take place on the Dalmatia island during the four days of fun. Regular ferries run from mainland Split to Brac each day.
