Fish dishes on offer to holidaymakers at Croatia event
04 January 2011Tourists are being invited to travel to Croatia later this year and enrol at the Sardine Academy for a tasty experience.
The Croatian National Tourist Board explains a festival based on the fish will open on April 30th and run until September.
It advises guests will be in a position to enjoy brand new gastronomic delights and witness experts prepare the food in more than 100 different ways.
Visitors who arrive in May have the opportunity to partake in the Fazana School of Pilchard Pickling, where tips and tasters of pilchards will be the order of the day.
Croatia is renowned for its high-quality cuisine, much of which revolves around the delicious hauls it is able to complete in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
Another event which may have lured a number of tourists to the country this week is the Ski World Cup, which is now underway in Sljeme.
