Five-day Croatia holiday 'is enough time to see Dubrovnik'
17 March 2010Web users with experience of a Dubrovnik holiday have been offering advice to a fellow traveller on the TripAdvisor website.
A user of the site, known as honey79, asks readers: "Is five days enough in Dubrovnik?"
Responses suggest that opting for a five-day break in Dubrovnik instead of the more traditional week will still leave time to enjoy the city.
The member is also advised to use a base in Dubrovnik - possibly at a Croatian villa - to explore other parts of the Adriatic coast.
One respondent, CaliCourtney, writes: "There are other destinations along the coast that you may want to see if you have the time. Korcula is very nice, as is Hvar. Split is also worth a day."
Also included in the response is a tip to fly in and out of different airports in Croatia, using the journey between the two as a chance to see more of the country.
Other reviews posted on the site this week suggested that Dubrovnik may be of great interest to tourists.
