Gen Rosso International to play in Croatia

Croatia is to host a series of shows by an internationally-renowned group of performing artists.

As reported by the Croatian Times, the Gen Rosso International Performing Arts Group will appear at three venues across the country this month.

The group is touring its Streetlight musical and the country's first performance took place in Krizevci, north-west Croatia today (May 12th).

A further two performances are scheduled to take place throughout the rest of this week and into next week; in Osijek on Friday, May 16th and in Split on Tuesday, May 19th.

The Gen Rosso International Performing Arts Group was formed in 1966 and currently consists of 18 musicians from ten different countries, including Kenya, Italy, Brazil and Poland.

Streetlight tells the story of a man who starts a new life for himself after moving away from his home town.

Recently, marketing group Global Publicity asserted that Croatia is a great place to visit for live music events.
