Go skiing in Montenegro

Jet-setters staying in the best accommodation Montenegro has to offer might want to make their way to Zabljak during their trip, as this is apparently a great place to enjoy some skiing.

According to online news source Argophilia, there are several natural tracks people can tackle, such as Javorovaca, Stuoc and Savin Kuk.

This particular pastime aside, however, adventurous tourists can also do a bit of rafting on the Tara River, while naturalists can walk through the Durmitor mountain range and discover over 1,500 different species of flowers and plants for themselves.

"The natural beauty of the area attracts tourists and winter sports enthusiasts from around the world," the publication observed. "Here there are a number of characteristics that make the place an ideal destination [for this]."

Of course, there are other sights apart from snow and ice - Karen Rockett of the Daily Mail recently noted that Montenegro boasts 72 miles of coastline and has a variety of ancient towns to explore.
