Head to Croatia and the dog could travel free

Pet lovers who do not want to leave their furry friends behind when they head off on their summer holidays could find the solution in a trip to Croatia.

Croatian Villas may be able to let those opting for a Croatia travel experience take their dogs with them - for no extra cost.

It comes as Hotel Resort Insider reports that people must be fully prepared if they choose to travel abroad with their pets.

Holidaymakers heading to the Balkan country must ensure they check with their accommodation provider before bringing their pets along, the website stated, as well as sorting out the relevant arrangements with the airline they are travelling on.

It is also advised that a dog's favourite toys and blankets are packed to ensure ultimate comfort for the precious pooches as they come to terms with foreign surroundings.
