'Heavy metal' acts to join major names in Croatia music festival

The final line-up of the forthcoming T-Mobile INMusic Festival, due to take place on the shore of Jarun Lake, Zagreb, has been confirmed.

The annual event, which was recently named as one of Europe's 'Top 20' music festivals by the Times, is due to take place between June 24th and 25th, with its location close to the capital meaning many music fans may opt to incorporate it into a longer Croatian villa holiday.

Among the big-name acts due to perform at the festival are Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen and Kraftwerk.

Now, it has been announced that a new 'Heavy Metal' stage will be on offer for the first time, with bands such as Anthraz, Hatebreed, Dimm Borgir and Rising Dream set to perform.

Alongside the heavy rock bands, a number of the finest DJs from the region will also be entertaining the crowd, which is expected to be as large as 25,000 people, Road Runner Records has revealed.

Since being redeveloped in the late 1980s, the neighbourhood around Jarun Lake in Zagreb has become a popular night time destination for holidaymakers taking a Croatian villa break in or near to the capital, while it is also possible to sail and even surf there.
