Holiday in Croatia 'can satisfy any travel cravings'

People with an ambition to travel and experience new places, cultures and events will find all they can dream of on a holiday in Croatia.

That is the view of Ron Bedard, writing for the Vancouver Sun, who says the country offers an abundance of adventures that can satisfy any "travel cravings".

In particular, he highlights the city of Zadar as a beautiful place to spend some time, describing it as a great location to base oneself for an action-packed stay.

He identifies the ancient entrance to the city – which still has hinges from hundreds of years ago in place – as a highlight, noting its 50-foot fortress wall is impressive.

Mr Bedard also suggests the Velebit national park is a good spot to head to, as it offers a relaxing sun-kissed area with beautiful views.

Andrew Eames, author of a piece for the Independent, recently praised Zadar for being a beautiful city with great links to the rest of Croatia.
