Holiday in Croatia 'one of best ways to escape royal wedding'

Britons looking to escape the mayhem of London during the royal wedding in April have been advised to book a holiday in Croatia.

Nadine Hallak, travel expert at Cheapflights.co.uk, explains there are many destinations that are suitable for a few days away during spring.

"Road closures and a tourism stampede will mean absolute mayhem for London's residents, so the peace and quiet of a TV set in another country will provide the perfect, rejuvenating backdrop," she notes.

And one of the top places to head to is Croatia's historic and vibrant capital of Zagreb, the expert states.

Ms Hallak goes on to suggest although the big day is fast approaching, there is still time to hunt down a bargain deal and enjoy a holiday in Croatia.

One option may be to book flights with easyJet, as the budget airline last week opened a new route between London Gatwick and Zagreb.
