18 February 2011Travellers who would love to enjoy a taste of authentic Croatia should head on holiday to Dubrovnik next month.
That is because the ancient city, located in the far south of the beautiful country, is set to host a Mediterranean Fair on March 26th.
It will take place at Valamar Lacroma in the heart of the resort from 12:00 local time, with an abundance of Croatian cuisine, crafts and fine wine available to try out.
Visitors may also be hoping for more cultural events, such as dancing, theatre performances and live music – all with a distinct Croatian style.
Alternatively, those who cannot wait another month to explore the fascinating city and its historic monuments could head to Croatia immediately in order to experience Dubrovnik Carnival.
The annual celebration kicked off recently and is due to run until March 8th, with the last day said to be the scene of some particularly joyous parties.
