Holiday in Dubrovnik 'will always offer something new'
09 September 2010It is not only people who have never been on holiday to Dubrovnik that should be considering a break in the city, says an expert.
Meri Matesic, UK director at the Croatian National Tourist Office, says those returning to the resort in the south of Croatia will still be entertained and fascinated by what it has to offer.
"It doesn't matter how many times you visit Dubrovnik, or any other coastal city or island, there will be always something that will intrigue you," she states.
Ms Matesic goes on to note more than 30 per cent of UK-based holidaymakers who head for Croatia go to Dubrovnik.
And the number of those in this bracket is rising every year, perhaps indicating the popularity and quality of a holiday in Dubrovnik.
In addition to the numerous sights and attractions on offer in the ancient city, it is also ideally located for day trippers, with islands such as Korcula just a short ride on the water away.
