Holiday in Sibenik, Croatia chosen by Norwegian royals
09 May 2011The king and queen of Norway are set to enjoy a holiday in Croatia later this week, according to reports.
Harald V and his wife Sonja will travel to the town of Sibenik, on the Dalmatian coast, for a break that begins on Friday (May 13th), the Croatian Times cited 24 Sata as stating.
Croatia's president Ivo Josipovic will be on hand to act as a personal guide for the royal couple, as they explore some of the resort's most beautiful and historic monuments.
It is suggested by the news source that they will visit St James' Cathedral in the heart of Sibenik, as well as the iNavis centre and the Nautical Centre Prgin.
During their holiday in Croatia, the king and queen will unveil a pair of ships that have been built in Croatia for a Norwegian client.
Harald V and Sonja are not the first famous faces to choose a holiday in Croatia, as the likes of Eva Longoria and Bill Gates have done so in the past.
