Holiday in Trogir for cultural Croatian break

Culture vultures looking to book a holiday in Croatia may be wise to head to the coastal resort of Trogir.

The Croatian National Tourist Office has noted that the official Summer of Culture is now underway in the town, having started on Tuesday (June 21st).

Running until September 3rd, the event features a host of traditional and high-class events that are sure to be of great entertainment to visitors.

For example, special exhibitions are to be put on at the Modern Gallery, theatre plays will be performed in the Old Town area and classical concerts are on the schedule.

The tourism organisation has promised that every traveller to Croatia will find something that suits their taste in Trogir.

It added that public festivals – such as seafood fair Fishermen's Nights – will see the town come together to celebrate and create a party atmosphere.

Trogir is located on the Dalmatian coast, just north of Split.
