Holiday in Trogir 'offers beauty and history'
22 February 2011A tourist has spoken of the joy and fascination involved with a holiday in the Croatian town of Trogir.
Susan Bredow, writing for News.com.au, explains she visited the resort on the Dalmatian coast as part of an organised tour of the region.
Arriving in the morning, the traveller's first observation was that the sun was already gloriously bright and warm, with the climate well on its way towards 40 degrees C.
She goes on to suggest there is "plenty to see" in Trogir, starting with the scenic waterfront and the crystal-clear sea of the Adriatic.
Much of the activity in the town takes place on the waves, with many high-flying visitors seeing it as a chance to jump on board a vessel and take in the view from the sea, Ms Bredow notes.
Trogir is located a few miles up the coast from Split and just a short ferry ride from the popular islands of Brac and Hvar.
