Holidaymakers in Croatia could enjoy acclaimed soprano's concert
30 November 2009Tourists in Croatia tonight (November 30th) may want to enjoy the distinctive voice of mezzo soprano Natasa Antoniazzo.
The Vecer uz Mignon concert kicks off at 20:00 GMT at the Mimara Museum in Zagreb, reports the Croatian Times.
Antoniazzo, along with Mia Elezovic on piano, will perform work by Schubert, Wolf, Futing, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Berg and Liszt.
She first studied at the Music Academy in the Croatian capital city before moving to Salzburg and learning from acclaimed opera singer Grace Bumbry and Jonathan Morris, explains the newspaper.
The soprano continues to study, but also makes time for special performances - such as the one tonight in her home city - while her accomplice is also an award-winning soloist who has performed across Europe.
Tonight's double-act comes in the midst of a memorable month of music in Zagreb, after the Pet Shop Boys were said to have "wowed" crowds in the city last weekend.
