Increased number of business travellers may be interested in Croatian villas

High-flying business executives travelling to Croatia for their next meeting or conference may find a luxury Croatian villa is the ideal place to stay.

Business Travel Magazine believes the current spate of travel promotions - especially on flights - will encourage businesspeople to travel in significant numbers during 2010.

The Business Travel and Meetings Show recently predicted that more than a quarter of firms will increase their travel budgets this year.

And a slice of that budget could be best invested in Croatian villas - which typically offer top-quality accommodation in the Balkan country.

Croatian villas could provide the perfect base from which to explore one of Europe's most historic and diverse countries - from Zagreb and Rijeka in the north to the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik in the south.

Another conclusion of the Business Travel and Meetings Show was that 35 per cent of businesspeople are expected to take more trips abroad this year - some of which could be spent thrashing out deals in Croatia.
