"Intimate" Pet Shop Boys gig available on last-minute Croatian break

Tourists who book a last-minute bargain break to Croatia for this weekend, or those who are already in the country, could enjoy a concert by the Pet Shop boys on Sunday (November 29th).

The gig has been moved from the Zagreb Arena Hall to Drazen Petrovic Arena, which organisers believe will give it a more "intimate" atmosphere, reports the Croatian Times.

Band managers are said to have requested the change in order to give fans a closer look at the legendary performers in action at the 5,400 capacity venue.

Neil Tenant and Chris Lowe - the duo who make up the Pet Shop Boys - have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, so fans thinking of a Croatian holiday may not be in short supply.

The concert begins at 20:00 local time and tickets are still available, priced at 220 kunas (£27), the newspaper states.

Now could be the time for music fans to book a Croatian villa and enjoy a luxury stay in the Balkan country, as opera legend Jose Carreras is due to perform in Zagreb next month.
