Istria festival 'should not be missed'
10 July 2009The Hand Made Fest in Istria should not be missed this autumn, according to the tourism board for the region.
People on holiday in Croatia later this year may wish to head to the event, which takes place over three days in October.
Running from October 16th to October 18th, the festival brings together some of the region's most creative people and allows visitors to take part in various activities and gives them the opportunity to buy a plethora of goods.
Handicraftsmen, freelance artists, artisans, designers and other creative individuals all descend on Pula to offer their wares and entertain the crowds.
People on a Croatia holiday may find they can pick up some bargain jewellery, clothing, ornaments, paintings or any other souvenirs.
Tourists can find various air routes into Pula - for example, Thomas Cook flies there from Manchester and Jat Airways links the popular tourist area with Belgrade in Serbia.
