Istria to host Outlook Festival

Music fans keen to combine their interests with a holiday might want to go on an Istria vacation, as the region is to host the Outlook Festival 2011 later this year.

Described by Resident Advisor as the "best four days of bass music in Europe, if not the world", the September event has already seen acts like Mala, Ikonika, Untold and Girl Unit confirm their sets.

What's more, the gigs will be played against a backdrop of an abandoned fort, with crystal-clear ocean views, while "legendary" boat parties will be heading out to sea with some of the best bands and artists on board.

"Outlook combines sun-soaked beach parties by day and all-night raving up at the fort when the sun sets," the website observed.

Anyone eager to check it out for themselves might be well advised to book tickets now, as the festival sold out three months in advance last year and is expected to do so even quicker in 2011.
