Italian fashion giant opens Zagreb store
24 March 2009The Italian fashion giant Brioni has opened its latest outlet in the Croatian capital of Zagreb.
On the back of recent store launches in Dubai, Macau and Cannes, the exclusive designer has opted to offer it wares to the city's trendsetters.
Shoppers at the boutique will have access to a variety of the group's clothing lines, as well as Brioni's famous tailoring service.
Joint chief executive of the company, Andrea Perrone, commented: "At the moment growth in this part of Europe is a very interesting prospect for Brione.
"Our name is profoundly linked to this part of the world - the Brioni islands were one of the most exclusive resorts in the first half of the 20th century and the reason behind us calling ourselves Brioni."
Travellers eager to visit the new store may want to time their trip to coincide with a performance by Irish rockers U2, who will play in the Croatian capital on August 10th.
