Klaxons headline Hartera Festival in Croatia
14 June 2010The Klaxons finally made it to Croatia's Hartera Festival after pulling out of 2009's event because of illness.
Former Dirty Pretty Things guitarist Anthony Rossomando joined the band at the gig in Rijeka and the crowd was treated to the same 14-song set audiences at their recent UK tour heard, NME reported.
Rossomando performed on keyboards, while seven new songs from their second album were played at Croatia's all-night festival.
The music publication noted Same Space was greeted warmly by the crowd, with singer Jamie Reynolds saying: "You're very kind, thank you so much. It is a pleasure to be here for the first time in Croatia. Let's have some fun."
Other songs performed by the band included Valley of the Calm Trees, Astronomical, Future Memories and Twin Flames, which are all new.
Croatia's Hartera Festival is held in an ex-paper factory, a building which is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe, the event's organisers claim.
