Local delights for Croatia holidaymakers

People staying in Croatian Villas over the next few days may wish to visit Daruvar to witness some local delicacies.

The Vinodar Wine Exposition programme will be running in the town from May 31st until June 7th, entertaining both tourists and locals alike.

Visitors to Croatia may want to check out what the region has to offer as part of a wider trip around the country. Daruvar is a picturesque spa town in the western part of the Croatian plains close to the Papuk mountain.

Held on the main town square, the Vinodar event sees local, traditional products sold in abundance.

There is the sale and presentation of wine, honey and honey products, as well as homemade cheese.

Other local delights, which are available to purchase at the event, include prosciutto ham, kulen sausages.

If the food does not take visitors' fancy, there are plenty of souvenirs and old craft demonstrations to entertain them.
