Loch Ness Monster to entertain those on Croatia holidays
22 June 2011People on holiday in Croatia next month may be surprised to find themselves being entertained by the Loch Ness Monster.
However, the mythical beast will not be making a long-awaited appearance in person, but in the form of a song, reported the Croatian Times.
A band called Studio Frendo will perform their hit Da je Smoje Ziv at the Split 2011 festival, which is due to take place next to the city's famous Diocletian's Palace.
The lyrics explain how the Loch Ness Monster is real but ended up in hell because of its insistence on fooling people into believing it was not.
With a history dating back more than half a century, the festival – which takes place between July 1st and 3rd – is sure to be of interest to tourists.
Other upcoming festivals in Croatia include SunceBeat 2, which is due to get underway in the coastal town of Petrcane on July 29th.
