Lufthansa announces new Croatia routes
27 March 2009The German air carrier Lufthansa has announced that it is to launch two new routes into Croatia, it has been reported.
According to the Croatian Times, the airliner will begin a twice-weekly service between the German city of Munich and Split in Dalmatia.
Lufthansa will also begin providing a weekly route between the Bavarian hub and the Adriatic resort of Dubrovnik.
The new flights are in addition to the eight daily flights already operated by Lufthansa and Croatia Airlines between Munich and capital Zagreb, the Croatian Times reported.
The services will begin from Saturday (March 28th) and prices are said to start from 122 euros for the Split route and 124 euros for a one-way flight to Dubrovnik.
While in either of the coastal resorts, visitors will no doubt want to soak up some of the cultural and architectural sites both cities have to offer, as well as their diverse range of eateries and night spots.
