Massive Attack to play Croatia's Dom Sportova
24 September 2009World-famous Bristol band Massive Attack are to play in Croatia in early November.
The duo, who are perhaps most famous for their ethereal pop single Teardrop, are due to the play the Dom Sportova in Zagreb on November 6th.
Their last album, 100th Window, was released in 2003, but it is expected that they will release another album early next year with guest vocalists including Damon Albarn from Blur and Tunde Adebimpe from TV on the Radio.
It will likely be a great night for fans of their music, which they have been releasing since their 1991 album Blue Lines.
They are widely credited with being among the pioneers of 'trip-hop', a genre that the likes of Portishead and Bjork are also associated with.
Massive Attack are not the only big band to play at the venue this year, with ZZ Top and Spandau Ballet also set to perform there.
