Mediterranean Film Festival in Siroki Brijeg

Anyone looking for something extra to accompany their Adriatic holiday may wish to check out the Mediterranean Film Festival in Siroki Brijeg.

The event, which is currently taking place in the southern Bosnia and Herzegovina town and ends at the start of June, is becoming increasingly popular, according to the official website for the occasion.

People who have chosen a vacation in Croatia may wish to make a visit to the film extravaganza.

"Those who once feel the smell of the Mediterranean in this town of film, always return," states the festival site. "In a word, everyone find Siroki Brijeg cool."

It adds: "In front of the cinema there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there are all-night dances at the rhythms of urban music."

Festivals are lighting up the region this year, with a number of music gatherings in Croatia and Serbia also set to draw in crowds from across Europe.
