Military exhibition could lure travellers to Zagreb
22 January 2010Military enthusiasts may wish to book a Croatian holiday and head to Zagreb, where an exhibition of photographs illustrating the work of British and Croatian allied forces is to go on display.
The showing will open on Monday (January 25th) at the capital's Europe Cinema, reports the Croatian Times.
Organisers of the event have scheduled it to run alongside the international conference on Afghanistan, which is taking place in London next week.
Included in the exhibition are more than 30 images depicting the actions of British and Croatian armed forces in conflicts in Chad, Iraq and Afghanistan, the newspaper explains.
It originally ran in Split last September, but its reopening allows those interested in break in a Croatian villa close to the capital the chance to view it too.
The Organ Vida photography exhibition took place in Rijeka recently, displaying some of the finest images captured by Croatians in 2009 - and may have been enjoyed by many people travelling in Croatia.
