New air routes provided for Dubrovnik holiday

Serbians choosing a Dubrovnik holiday this year may be able to access the southern Croatian city via Jat Airways.

Talks are underway for the carrier to start up flights between Belgrade and Dubrovnik in the middle of June.

Initial plans state that Serbian opting for a Croatia travel experience this summer will have two flights a week - on Thursday afternoons and Monday mornings - until the end of September.

Seasonal flights between the Serbian capital and another Croatian destination, Pula, began again last year.

As a destination for a holiday, Croatia generally offers good weather throughout the summer, as well as some popular tourist attractions such as Dubrovnik's old town and the Dalmatia islands.

This year, people staying in Croatian accommodation can also visit a number of large-scale music events, including the Soundwave Festival and the Garden Festival.
