New flights could make Croatian holiday dream a reality

Travelling to Croatia may have just got even easier and more tempting for scores of British holidaymakers after budget airline easyJet announced it is to offer new services to the Balkan country in 2010.

Routes between London Stansted and Split and Dubrovnik will start on May 14th and 15th respectively, with return flights priced at as little as £48.98.

With such a reasonably-priced way of getting to the Adriatic coast available, tourists may wish to invest some more of their budget in a luxury Croatian villa or waterfront apartment.

Such a property could form an effective base for both soaking up the sun and exploring one of Europe's most diverse and historical locations.

The new routes are two of 21 that easyJet is launching across Europe over the next 12 months, taking its total to more than 500 from 19 UK hubs.

Croatia is already linked with London Gatwick, Bristol and Liverpool thanks to easyJet.
