New flights offer more chances to take a Croatia holiday

More Europeans will have the opportunity to holiday Croatia style this summer, it would seem.

National carrier Croatia Airlines has announced that it will be starting direct flights between Zagreb and Barcelona in Spain, as well as Zagreb and the Swedish city of Gothenburg.

Travellers wishing to experience what Croatian accommodation can bring to a summer vacation will be able to use the Barcelona-Zagreb service from June 9th and the link to Gothenburg three days later.

Once visitors reach the capital city of Zagreb, they may wish to travel around the country.

Earlier this week, the Croatian Times reported that people will be able to benefit from cheaper train travel between the capital and Split on the Dalmatia coast.

Those who head to Split will find they are in easy access of some of the country's most beautiful islands.
