New flights to Croatia from Germany launched
23 February 2011An increased number of Germans could soon be taking flights to Croatia after an airline set up a new route to the country.
EasyJet is now flying between Dortmund and Zagreb, with the first service landing on Croatian soil last week, the Croatian Times reports after a piece by 24 Sata.
It is yet another link to the capital from other European venues provided by the budget carrier, following the Zagreb to Paris operation that started in November.
Flights to Croatia from Dortmund – and Paris – are now available to tourists who would like to experience the city, notes the news source.
Earlier this month, easyJet also started its service from London Gatwick to Zagreb, perhaps emphasising its commitment to Pleso Airport.
British travellers looking to travel to the fascinating country also have the option of using the airline to fly to Split or Zagreb, both of which are served from London.
