Nothing compares to you, Croatia

Those on an Istria holiday later this month may be lucky enough to see popular Irish singer Sinead O'Connor perform.

The Dubliner is set to appear in the historic Pula Arena for an open-air concert on June 24th.

Her famous singles include Nothing Compares 2 U, Thank You For Hearing Me and the Ian Brown collaboration, Illegal Attacks.

Istria's official tourism website said: "Sinead O'Connor, an artist with amazing powers of interpretation, with her instrumental/vocal innovations has enriched the music scene while going through her own personal catharsis."

Music fans will therefore be able to combine their Istria vacation with a trip to see one of Ireland's most famous exports.

It may provide an alternative form of entertainment from the diving, days lounging on the beach and various other cultural attractions that a holiday in the Istria region of Croatia has to offer.
