Party in ancient fort on holiday in Dubrovnik
09 June 2011Those who travel to Dubrovnik for a holiday this summer have been advised to head to a historic venue for a late-night party.
According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Culture Club Revelin, located in Fort Revelin, is one of the city's premier nightspots.
With the lower part of the building dating back to 1463, there may be no more cultural and splendid venue for a boogie anywhere in Europe.
The structure is said to have previously protected Dubrovnik from the mainland and the sea and houses a fascinating museum.
But in the twilight hours, it turns into a hub for revellers and is described by the tourist board as the place to be for a party in the city.
Since opening in December last year, Culture Club Revelin has featured performances from some of the top named in Croatian music.
Music of a different genre can be enjoyed in the city on July 24th, with the Strasbourg Youth Symphony Orchestra due to play at Revelin Fort Terrace.
