Plan flights to Croatia for 2012 holiday now
27 June 2011Travellers have been invited to start making plans for their holidays in Croatia next year, after flights to the country for the period in question went on sale.
Jet2.com has revealed it is now offering services from Edinburgh to Dubrovnik for next summer, with prices starting from £39.99 each way.
The flights will run on a weekly basis, so it may be wise to snap up a preferred slot some time in advance.
Ian Doubtfire, managing director at the airline, said the company is "delighted" to be making flights to such a popular location available.
"People are starting to think about next year's holidays – whether it's to escape the hype surrounding Euro 2012 or wanting to take advantage of the extra bank holiday to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee," he explained.
It is not only international visitors who are showing a desire for holidays in Croatia, as the Croatian Times recently revealed that many tourist operators believe breaks in the country are becoming more popular with locals.
