Ralph Fiennes 'enjoys Dubrovnik holiday'

Hollywood superstar Ralph Fiennes has recently been spotted soaking up the sun in Dubrovnik.

The actor spent several nights in ancient coastal city, staying in Dubrovnik accommodation following filming commitments.

Meri Matesic, director at the Croatian National Tourist Office in London, says he is just one of a number of A-list celebrities to have been sighted in the country in recent times.

Explaining the purpose of his visit, she says: "Ralph Fiennes was walking around the city sightseeing and enjoying the Dubrovnik beauties."

Fiennes had come from neighbouring country Serbia, where filming for his new movie Coriolanus had been taking place.

Co-star Gerard Butler also used his trip to the Balkan region to enjoy a Croatia holiday, with the actor being photographed on board a luxury yacht just off Dubrovnik's sandy coastline.

As well as a leading on-screen role in Coriolanus, Fiennes is making his directorial debut in charge of the production.
