Slovenia celebrates Christmas with fair

An Advent Art and Crafts Fair will be held in Bled, Slovenia every Saturday and Sunday during the festive season this year.

The Fair begins on November 29th and between December 20th and January 4th it will be staged every day for people to visit.

Held in Teresa Park, the venue will also host a visitor programme with a festive theme including December Men and street theatre performances.

On Christmas Day at 17:00 local time, the Castle Bathing Area will stage the famous Bled legend of the sunken bell, featuring divers from Slovenia and abroad.

The Festival Hall will host the 18th New Year's Gala Concert featuring a symphony orchestra and soloists at 19:00 local time on January 1st.

In other festive news in the city, an event will be staged this Christmas season which will attract international tourists from all over the world.

The Circle of Friendship will be held on the penultimate day of the year, December 30th, and is a chance for friends to get together and celebrate the past 12 months.
