Spanish Steps exhibition set to open in Croatia

An exhibition of fine shoes will be held in Zagreb this month - which may persuade fashion fans to book a Croatian holiday now.

A bargain last-minute break could be an ideal way to both enjoy the display by the Spanish leather industry and check out one of Europe's most cultural cities.

Spanish Steps will be held at the capital's Hotel Antunovic on February 18th and 19th, the Croatian Times reveals.

"The best Spanish footwear and leather-good brands will present their fall/winter collections at the event," the newspaper states.

Zagreb could soon be considered one of Europe's premier shopping destinations, after a state-of-the-art out-of-town retail park was developed recently.

The city may prove to be the perfect destination for a holiday in 2010 - with an abundance of retail areas, a wealth of history and luxury Croatian villas all on offer.
