Sport and Nautica comes to Croatia

Those spending time on holiday in Croatia this month will be able to enjoy the traditional sports and nautical fair which takes place in Zagreb each year.

The capital city will play host to the 19th Sports and Boats Show at the grounds of the Zagreb Fair from tomorrow (February 24th) until February 28th, with representatives from the sporting industry from all over the world flocking to the event.

Fans of luxury sporting boats will be able to see a wide range of vessels as the fair will be temporarily turned into a marina for the duration of the five-day festival.

Some 32 countries will be participating in the show, including Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Japan, China, the US and the UK.

The Faculty of Kinesiology at the University in Zagreb will also be hosting a conference in conjunction with the Sports and Boats Show, with the theme of Speed, Agility and Explosiveness Training.

At 180,000 sq m, the show will take up a sizeable portion of the 500,000 sq m Zagreb Fair.
