Taking advantage of Hertz offer now could prevent hire car heartbreak
19 January 2010Croatia is one of the countries predicted to suffer the most from a shortage of hire cars this summer - meaning those heading on a Croatian holiday in 2010 could consider it a shrewd move to secure a vehicle now.
The recession has led many leading rental companies to reduce the size of their fleets.
The areas most likely to be affected by this include Croatia, as well as Italy and Greece.
A lack of advance bookings can also drive up the cost of hiring a car, with little availability and huge late demand resulting in high prices.
One way to avoid both the availability and cost issues is to take advantage of two fantastic offers from Hertz Rent a Car in conjunction with Croatian Villas.
Hertz are offering travellers to Croatia 10% off all car hire bookings when they are made through Croatian Villas by March 31st.
Also, those who book a car with Hertz, Croatia for at least seven days will be entitled to the free use of leading sat nav system Neverlost, which is available for use in 40 different languages.
Holidaymakers should be aware that both offers are already limited due to high demand.
