Tasty, healthy Croatian food to go on show to those on Dubrovnik holidays
16 March 2011Some of the most delicious traditional food of Croatia will be available to those on holiday in Dubrovnik later this month.
The eighth annual Mediterranean Health Food and Medicinal Herbs fair gets underway on March 24th and runs for four days, meaning there could still be time to arrange a break in the country.
Dubrovnik Tourist Board says the event is considered to be one of the top organic agriculture fairs in the nation.
It tempts people from around the world into travelling to Croatia in order to enjoy what the numerous exhibitors have to showcase.
Pastry shops and bakeries will be present to offer their food, while restaurants and taverns will also display some of their tastiest treats.
Acclaimed Croatian gourmet expert Velijko Barbieri will be on hand to organise a Mediterranean table of high-quality dishes.
The Guardian this week nominated the War Photo Ltd gallery in Dubrovnik, which houses images from conflicts around the world, as one of the top photography displays on the planet.
