Teri Hatcher's mum 'using Dubrovnik holiday to find potential suitors'

The mother of US actress Teri Hatcher has been seeking out potential dates for her daughter while on holiday in Croatia.

Following two divorces, the Desperate Housewives star has spent the last few years as a single woman - something her mum seems determined to change.

The 75-year-old parent has been lapping up the sunshine on a cruise that stopped in the ancient Croatian city of Dubrovnik, famous for its historic walls and red rooftops.

"She's e-mailing me what a great time [she's having and] sends me a picture that says, 'I'm with our private guide in Dubrovnik' and the email says, 'He's very available and very undemanding'," Hatcher says.

While undemanding is not a quality the actress suggests she is looking for, taking a holiday in the romantic setting of Dubrovnik may be considered as a possible way to find love.

Hatcher's Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria spent time in Croatia earlier this summer, travelling between spots such as Dubrovnik, Split and Sibenik.
