Theatre goers may be tempted by holiday in Zadar
28 June 2011Those who love to take in a show or two while on holiday may find all they are looking for in Zadar, when on Croatia vacations.
According to the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Zadar Summer of Theatre is a cultural highlight of the season on the Dalmatian coast.
It noted that the event gets underway on Thursday (June 30th) and runs until early August, giving holidaymakers more than a month to enjoy the arts in the town.
The Zadar Summer of Theatre includes a special programme of shows that are designed to add sophistication and culture to any break.
Stage pieces is the theme of the event, meaning guests can enjoy a dramatic play on one evening and follow it up with a light-hearted dance routine the next.
Zadar is due to be in the headlines next month when the SunceBeat 2 music festival kicks off on July 29th in Petrcane, close to the town.
