Tips for a Dubrovnik holiday
29 May 2009Those planning a Dubrovnik holiday have been given some advice on how best enjoy the experience.
According to the Observer, the old southern Croatian city is one of the top places to visit in the Mediterranean area.
It offers various forms of entertainment and culture, and there are a number of ways tourists can take in Dubrovnik the manner of the locals.
"The walled city of Dubrovnik is one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful, and to stay within the walls and potter between the markets and cafe-lined piazzas is one of the most relaxing ways to experience it," the newspaper stated.
The publication also recommended that people who stay in Dubrovnik accommodation should visit the market on Gunducileva Square, which offers fresh bread and local fruit and vegetables. Holidaymakers can locate the market in the heart of the Old Town.
Younger tourists may want to check out the night-time entertainment provided by Latino Club, which is located close to the Old Town.
