Tourists can remember Goran Ivanisevic's Wimbledon win on holiday in Croatia

Tennis fans on holiday in Croatia next month will be in a position to enjoy an exhibition to mark Goran Ivanisevic's Wimbledon triumph.

The Croat won the title in SW19 ten years ago and museum bosses are planning to repeat a display they put on at the time, reported the Croatian Times.

Hosted by the Photo Club Split, the exhibition will come a decade after Ivanisevic won the grand slam and 300 years after the group was formed.

It will be held in the player's home town of Split on the Dalmatian coast and will be identical to the show created in the wake of the resort's celebrations in 2001, when 150,000 people turned out to recognise Ivanisevic's achievement.

"We'll pull out old photos and repeat the exhibition on July 9th with the aim of remembering Goran Ivanisevic's astonishing victory," the club's secretary Josip Ostojic told the newspaper.

This year's Wimbledon championships got underway on Monday (June 20th).
