Tourists could book flights to Croatia as Mediterranean Fair nears
07 March 2011With less than three weeks to go until a delicious and fascinating festival gets underway, tourists with a sweet tooth may wish to book flights to Croatia.
The ancient city of Dubrovnik, located in the south of the country, will be the host of the Mediterranean Fair, which takes place on March 26th.
A Mediterranean table is likely to be the centerpiece of the event, with visitors invited to taste and purchase a huge range of local foods and dishes.
The delicious date in the diary kicks off at 12:00 local time and can be found at Valamar Lacroma.
On the menu may be a healthy quota of seafood – as Dubrovnik is famed for its catches from the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic – and Croatian wine.
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board recently recommended travellers to Croatia head to the cable car that takes people from the city to the summit of Mount Srd, claiming that it offers great views over the resort.
