Tourists in Croatia 'to watch Knightley make new film'

Film fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Hollywood star Keira Knightley may wish to book a Croatian holiday for this spring.

Knightley is due to play the role of Zelda, the wife of American writer Francis Scott Fitzgerald, in a new movie about his life, the Croatian Times reports.

It is also being speculated in some quarters that Titanic actor Leonardo di Caprio will join the cast - and also be found in Croatia this year.

Travelling to Zagreb may be the best way to catch one of the world's most iconic actresses in action, with the film - entitled The Beautiful and the Damned - due to be set in the Croatian capital.

A holiday in Croatia may be the ideal trip for celebrity spotters, with A-list stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce and Jay-Z visiting the country in the last year.

Also in 2009, the cast and crew for BBC drama Doctor Who spent time filming scenes for the latest series on the Adriatic coast.
