Travel expert predicts late holiday booking market
21 May 2009It is likely there will be a late holiday booking market this year, according to spokesperson for Abta - The Travel Association.
Sean Tipton claimed that with people unsure about the future of their jobs, there will be a number of holidaymakers who hold on until they organise their trips abroad.
Many of them will choose to holiday Croatia style, by taking advantage of the many historic sites and tourist attractions the country has to offer.
Sun, sea, sand and culture are all provided by the nation's various travel hotspots such as Dubrovnik and Split.
Mr Tipton said: "If you are worried about your job and those kind of issues, you're not going to rush out and book a holiday. You are going to wait till you feel secure and it's inevitable there will be a late booking market because of that."
