Travel to Croatia and watch U2 perform
28 May 2009Thousands of people are planning to travel to Croatia's capital Zagreb in August to watch rock legends U2 in concert.
More could yet follow them on a Croatia travel experience because tickets for the August 9th gig at Stadium Makimir have not sold out.
No tickets remain for the August 10th concert at the same venue, but those planning to stay in Croatian accommodation this summer may wish to take in what is likely to be a fantastic musical experience the day before.
A number of big-name bands are putting on shows in Croatia in the coming months, including English group Arctic Monkeys.
Meanwhile, Depeche Mode had to cancel a scheduled concert in May due to an illness affecting one of the band members, but they are expected to name a new Croatian date later this year.
With Croatia playing Ukraine in a World Cup qualifying match in Zagreb next weekend, the country is proving it knows how to host big events.
