Travel to Croatia for unique mix of music and movies

Fans of music and movies may find the perfect event being held should they travel to Croatia next month.

Between March 4th and 7th, the Festival of Documentary Rock Film will take place in the remote surroundings of Vinkovci.

It is designed to entertain both film and music lovers equally, with many of the stories told based on the lives of famous singers or artists.

The Croatian National Tourism Board says the tales are "sure to impress" both fans of the stars in question but also those who simply appreciate the arts.

As well as the productions being shown, people can look forward to numerous workshops, exhibitions and book promotions.

It is also an excellent opportunity to explore one of the most fascinating and inspirational regions of Croatia.

Vinkovci is located in the east of Croatia, close to the popular town of Osijek and about 170 miles from the capital city of Zagreb.
